The more pedestrian SA-708 and SA-608 with a Yamaha integrated at the bottom.

The Spec series from Pioneer had the dial power meters rather than the blue meters.

^^^ I would think that the heat from the fireplace wouldn't be good for the components?

With the shelves as low as they are, the components don't feel much heat although it does help thaw out the fluid in the tone arm in the winter time. I worry more about the ***** from the pool table but I figure I could always use an excuse to upgrade.

How about some incredible equipment I am selling. Shindo IMO is the only preamp worth spending money on. The base model Aurieges i am selling is superior to anything else I have heard and out performs units like the LAMM LP2, AR, CJ or any other brand I can think of and they only get better from there.

I currently have for sale a Shindo Aurieges with built in MM phono section and step up transformer for MC this unit was new in February and now costs $5k new without SUT. The Monbrison is a complete leap above that and now sells for $10k new I don't have pictures of the Masseto but that is not for sale and is pure harmonic nirvana. Never have i heard anything bring so much to a system and I hear they get better as you go up the line but I am so satisfied with the sound I currently have I don't care to go further. And this time I mean it. ;-)

Sorry for the bad pictures. Both units are in like new condition and are outstanding improvement to any system. Pm me if interested.

Both Units SOLD

Those are Avantgarde Duo Omegas. I used to be the south FL rep many years ago, but the US distributor has since changed (the manufacturer is German). You can go to the Avantgarde website which lists the various distributors worldwide:
