Neat to see the old Dyna and Hafler stuff. I expect a few of us put together Dynaco kits in our salad days. My old ST-120 and PAS 3X went to Frank Van Alstine for rebuilds with new circuits, so they live again. He's an interesting guy, loves to debunk audio "mysticism" for lack of a better term. Definitely gives you bang for the buck. You can check out his website at <avahifi.com>. No pic necessary, since only the guts have changed. My Dynaco FM-5 has refused to die and still gets used regularly.

On the digital front, I took the bait and installed a Bang and Olufsen Beosound5 system. Transfered all our CD's to its hard drive and all the music from our PC, now it will play random tunes that I didn't know I had... but I'm growing to like it since we put satellites (B&O 3500) around the house, so we have one dedicated listening room plus the other areas.

Does anyone else have a Beo5?? Would like to compare notes

No, its kuzma stabi xl - made in slovenia

Impresive peace of equipment. I wish I could afford it one day.

Anyway, this is my system:

I like old (197x) luxman components, they sound so soft.. I love it.

luxman l-3
onkyo dv-l5
luxman t-2
&
jbl tlx40 pair

I am now looking for more decent speakers than jbl tlx40. I mean they sound ok, but ok isn't good enough...

I just bid on these, but was outbid at 530€..

20 - 50.000 hz freq. response.

I got to get my hands and ears on pair of those ... but price + 1000km trip to berlin is a little too much for now.

And I am looking for nice luxman turntable. I'll check this one tomorrow: http://www.bolha.com/avdio-gramofoni...2-oglas3223264

looks nice, decent price too.

I have a Beosystem 7000 which has become an icon, designed by Jacob Jensen. Bought it second hand when I sold my old system. I like it so much that it became permanent.
