Default PCM 3.1 HELP!

I would appreciate any assistance with my issue. I currently need to update the firmware on my Panamera. It’s never been updated and is currently running firmware version 1.35 (pcm 3.1). Can anyone tell me the process to update this firmware? I know I cannot get it to the most current version due to the hardware BUT I know it’s well behind its firmware capabilities. Thank you.

That is the current firmware for your hardware. There are 4 hardware versions of the PCM3.1. The firmware has multiple versions depending on the hardware. Mine is a 2013 Panamera and I have hardware 2.31. Versions 1.xx and 2.xx use a IDE hard drive and version 3.xx and 4.xx use SATA hard drive.
