I've done mine, the inlets are easily removed. Plastidip works well (despite the musings of many on the board--a fair number of whom I suspect have never used it). The dip itself is also simple to remove. Go for it!

IMO, looks great as is; the pic's cited above don't look good.

u can do a decent photoshop on it to see what it will look like. on the 991s the gloss black intakes look awesome so i can see it working on 997.

I have carbon fiber and they started turning yellow

I've discussed wrapping with a local shop who quoted me approximately $400/side. Because the intakes are plastic they are more difficult, at least according to them.

I know Rennlisters are allergic to the P-word, but this seems like a textbook example of when to use PlastiDip...
