Default 997.2 BBI Exhaust still available? Or do I just get EP

Does anywhere sell them or do I have to go with Europipes? BBI was the only exhaust that sounded as visceral as the EPs, just cant find them anywhere!

I've seen several pipes up close and the work that Steph does building those exhaust's shows some real craftsmanship. It's good to see that level of quality and the sound, truely, speaks for itself. After looking at the other exhaust systems out there it was a no brainer as to which one was going on my car.

There was a bbi for sale on 6speed:

No affiliation with the seller

There is no "EP2" for the 997.2 I thought? Just the EP1. If there was a more raw sounding EP I would jump on it. I don't care about drone since the truck is for friends to ride in and the car is for me only! I have heard videos of a white 997.2 on youtube with the EP startup and a few rolling shots...rawr. All I can say.

Our 997.2TT full 3" X-pipe with dual 3" tips is pretty visceral. I just put up a customer supplied video on this forum the other day and there is a link on our Web page to another one.....may be worth a look, many think it's the best sound available for the 7.2TT

Stef at Europipe will build you whatever you want. The only difference between EP 1 and EP 2 are the size of the tips. If you do not mind drone I'm sure Stef will make you an EP2 for your 997.2.

Speedtech sound v.good in all the vids I've heard too but craftsmanship on EP beautiful.

The only detriment of the EP is it's weight. Nobody comes Close to their craftsmanship

It's roughly the same weight of stock whereas my gmg weights about 22lbs

I've got an EP1 on my car, and I never get tired of it.

the EP1 is not a lightweight system; However, one of it's strengths, pun intended, is that it is a one piece unit. It's probably close to indestructible the way it's made. The problem I see with many of the other systems is that they are multiple piece systems that are not as structurally sound.

Just email or call Jerry and he will set you up. It's expensive but worth it... I have a catless BBI for my 997.2 TTS and I have never seen a better built exhaust. I have considered adding cats or selling mine to purchase one with cats. If you are indifferent, pm me and maybe we can work something out op...

True, multi piece systems all tend to drone.
