I can't recall if the sport chrono gauge it lit or not at night with the instrument cluster gauges? Seems to me it isn't but I'd like to make sure because mine wasn't last night.

Hi 4ocious, mine doesn't light up either unless I'm using it.

Thanks throwinbombs, I thought so but just couldn't recall. I know on the earlier 997.1's it wasn't but not sure about the 997.2's.

Yup my 997.2TT sport chrono only lights up if in use, otherwise dark.


I started a lap and stopped after a second to keep the dials pointed in their normal "off" position but the light bothered me at night so I reset the timer and now leave it in the off position.

Off unless being used. I always found it a little distracting at night. I believe dealer can use PIWIS to program so it's on with lights.
