Can I order a black painted front lip from Porsche
or do they send it out for paint?
looking to replace my lip with a painted one as per option list the PO replaced it with a non painted one.

Dont believe the factory ever painted the lips, it *might* have been an exclusive option, dunno for sure.

They do offer it in a primered version, though it's a lot more $ then the standard black lip..

If I wanted to paint it Id probably get the standard version and have the paint shop prep it for paint.

Considering the abuse it takes, and the relative low cost to inevitably replace it, Krylon Fusion satin black works great!!

eBay has an Aero style paintable knock off that's great quality. Mine was 104 bucks and had it shot in white. If u wanna stay with black I like the Krylon idea!

They never come painted, they come primered or black.

The eBay ones are cool, I had one on my old 997TT, it does need some modifications to have a 95% fitment.
