Here's the 6Speed Recaro Sportser CS thread which I've been following with some casual interest (he installed the side airbag version into a 997TT coupe but the airbags aren't wired in so they're non-functional).

Recaro sportster CS are great seats. You can get them with heat and all leather too. I had them in leather w alcantara inserts. Again great alt to sport buckets. Similar support and comfort- just not as light

For everyday driving they are great and plenty of other stock seats suck too. but once you spend some time in some buckets, you realize how much better it makes the sporting driving experience

Def. give the Recaro Sportster CS a shot, the offer a leather option or you can have them rewrapped for a higher quality leather. Painted seat backs are also easy with these if you're into that
Stable Energies in Garfield has a display set if you want to try them out

The stock seats are great for daily duty. Easy entry and exit.
If you are looking for better performance in your seat for your street TT, look no further then GT2 buckets.
Factory fit and finish. Great resale when you are done with them. look proper.
I have GT2 buckets in my 2008TT. It is my daily driver and for the time it a little more work to get my *** in and out of them it is worth it on the twisty roads home.

GT2 buckets are so great - you can even drive upside down - and stay planted! LOL

I've had both the Recaro Sportster CS seats in Leather and the GT2 seats. Both are amazing. Can't go wrong with either and both are substantially better then either stock options if you are looking for support.

i also find Recaro SPG and PP's comfy for buckets.

For a street car I also like the side airbags so I'm waiting to see if anybody gets them to work on the Recaro CSs.
I have the LWBs but wish for a bit of adjustment (recline and lumbar) at times on longer easy drives.

Oliver? Hi, it's Ben we met at the fall drive. I used to have Recaro Pole Positions in my Z3 M coupe track car and thought it was the easiest to egress and ingress among buckets. This said there's a shop I use for service maint in Garfield, Stable Energies / European Performance and they have on display all the seats from Recaro and OMP. Go check them out!
