Reasonably Priced Winter Wheel/Tire Options for Centerlock 997.2TT
Hi Everyone,
I'd like to get your recommendations on a set of winter wheels and tires that won't break the bank (~$3,000?).
Car is a 2010 Turbo Cab with centerlocks and standard brakes (no PCCB). I don't plan on driving it when there is snow on the ground. It's more about the cold temps here in Boston. The plan is to get them ready before the next winter ('17-'18). I do have other vehicles in the house but would like to enjoy driving the beast as much as possible.
I was looking at the O.Z. Challenge 18" centerlocks on Tirerack but they've confirmed the front fitment (8" width?) have been discontinued. All other options on there are either 19" or 20", which I'm trying to stay away from if at all possible.
Any other 18" options out there that will fit the bill? Or am I out of luck due to the centerlock?

I would call Damon @ Tire Rack - very knowledgeable and can probably set you up for reasonable price.
For my 6 turbo, I went with a 993 turbo technology wheel and Blizzak LMs. Awesome grip even in deep snow. Make sure the wheel size ratios are correct.
