Default Fidelity warranty

So I bought a 2007 997 turbo manual about a year ago with 33k miles from Baron BMW. Got fidelity platinum ($100 ded) warranty for 4/45 for 4800. a month in the spoiler failed and they replaced the entire unit through the Porsche store in SLC, cost about 3900 as I recall. Fidelity rep came out and service manager showed them the blown system. No problem they wrote the check. About 2 months after that the coolant hose let go on top of the engine, he came back out same result. that was another 3400. I asked a lot of F&I guys at Audi, Porsche and Toyota stores who has the best warranty, meaning "who pays consistently and what do they sell". Fidelity always came out number one. Considering I am now thousands to the good side of the ledger with mine I would agree. Hope this helps

@clb00196 did you end up keeping Delta Auto Protect? Are they easy to work with? They are quoting me a very good price on my extended warranty that seems too good to be true. Thank you advance for your reply.

Fidelity paid for rear main seal on previous 02 996 C2 & few other minor items- i also have fidelity platinum on my '07 997TT no claims yet- also on wifes '07 Boxster S- Last month they covered steering rack, front motor mount, Combo valve on the 987.1 with 76k miles. I've no info on Delta- but have had lots of good coverage with Fidelity.

I have Fidelity Platinum as well, and they definitely paid for the MAF sensors on my 997.1 turbo when they failed. Only had to pay for the deductible. I think my dealership has a good relationship with them. I would recommend Fidelity to anyone.

I think you can call them directly, but many guys on this site use Michael Jourdan at Mossy Motors in New Orleans. I've heard he often gets it discounted. Others may know more.

Here's a thread about Fidelity Platinum that I scoured through to do research on the same topic: https://rennlist.com/forums/997-foru...ices-here.html
