Coverted my Turbo to aircooled
This was an easy mod really, but it needs to alligned properly to obtain max boost.
Now I don't have to feel like the cheap brother to a 993 and earlier 911 guy.
So over people going on about aircooled cars. Only 18 months ago you couldn't give a 964/993 away, but now they want them just because they have trippled in price. Nuts.
I can honestly say that after 7 aircooled cars, they really aren't even that great. Not compared to this car anyway.
Done.

Have you checked to see if your air conditioner works now that you've made the conversion? Probably not....

But the old cars are past the 'drives great' requirement. They have become like art and are coveted for different things than driving alone.
If you like cars and have money to invest I think it's not a bad thing to buy an old Porsche.
Or alternatively, if you have the time and patience to wait, buy a nice 997 low mile turbo manual and wait for them to become coveted like the old cars did. It will happen !
