Cobalt blue 997.1 Turbo
Hey All.
I bough a gt4 about a month ago. It was between a 997.1 turbo and the gt4. Decided on GT4 but the Turbo still haunts my dreams.
Local dealer just got in a cherry 4800mi 997.7 turbo manual in Cobalt Blue.

keith hicks is my favorite sales guy there. I have no interest in the sale. Just thought I would pass along a deal.

Um, did they really advertise this car for sale with no pics? I even went to their website. No pics. Sounds nice though. Big money for a 2008 but it's SO LOW MILES and a rare color. If this is what someone's been looking for, this is a gem. Maybe.

I looked too....No Pics? Even with the low miles...I'm closer to $80k...but someone who's looking for this car and color wouldn't mind paying a premium...I just don't see it. Sorry.

Beautiful car. No way I would pay $90K or anything close to it on a 2008 997.1 Turbo though. It continues to baffle me why some people place such a premium--I mean in some cases a five-figure premium--on cars with extremely low miles. If you're a collector or investor, sure. But if you plan to actually drive your car, even as a weekender or 3rd or 4th vehicle, the practical difference between a 9 year old car with <10K miles and a 9 year car that has been well maintained and has 40K+ miles is pretty minimal. This is all just my opinion of course.
To the OP though, the GT4 is a gem of a car. I love my turbo, but if we were talking even money, or close to it, I'd trade my turbo for a GT4 in a heartbeat. It's about the only Porsche I want more than what I currently have.

Good market intel if nothing else and manuals always command a premium.
For me, that car in manual and that color is worth every cent of 88-90. But I am a "three pedal only" buyer. Its part of the reason I ditched the Lambo Huracan "upgrade" (had an LP560-2 before in manual)

No PCCB'S or Adaptive Sport Seats. The color is nice but far from rare... Low miles can yield leaked seals etc... Although, it may be in excellent cond as the new owner puts on the miles wave the premium good-buy.
Maybe if it was a last year hybrid 09...with the 2010 updated display, phone, stereo..etc...
Best to the dealer and buyer...and you.
Happy Holidays!!!
