Wasn't there someone here on RL that specializes in Quotes for these warranties??
I should probably think of one for my TTS.

Michael Jourdan at Mossy Motors, search the thread his contact info is in here somewhere - I bought from him, zero issues.

My 996 had one when I bought it and they were great. Paid for itself easily.

I bought the Platinum coverage---6 years, $250 deductible for about $3,400-- from Mossy Motors two years ago this coming July. Last month my 997.1 TT with 20K miles was in the Porsche Honolulu dealership to replace the motor that hydraulically raises and lowers the wing and the part alone was $3,400. The warranty also covered two cracked coils. I still have four years remaining on the warranty. Bottom line: the warranty is peace of mind and in my case, in has already paid for itself.

curious what the breakdown on pricing everyone has received looks like as 3400 is less than half for the same plan that a <40k mileage is running. it seems to be -mostly- mileage driven, but im sure year plays a part somewhat too?

I had a very similar experience with a temp sensor and radiator going out just a few months after buying my car - Fidelity covered all of it, thread describing symptoms:
