The surest thing is to download the wheel fitment template and test on your wheels (OE or aftermarket) to determine whether it can fit or not:

http://www.racingbrake.com/v/downloa...-02fitment.pdf

We can also build a CCB kit with 380/380 rotor kit (ZR1 rear 380x34mm) for front and rear which shall fit "most" 19" wheels, or even some 18" (aftermarket)

This will be a smaller rotor kit but with the same idea - Give you a peaceful mind when you need rotor replacement, you replace them via GM than Porsche dealers and can forget about switching between ccb/iron (To pccb or not pccb), refurbishing? (cost and reliability) etc. etc.

Nothing to worry but fun driving, easy brake maintenance and replacement, save more money even more than iron brake (due to less replacement).

Thanks. Have you had anyone fit them with OEM 997.1 Turbo wheels?

Not yet but understand the same brake kit is designed and built with the same exact components for Porsche 911 (993/996/997/991) i.e. rotors, pads, and calipers all interchangeable except caliper adaptors that must be made to fit different upright.

Porsche owners must realize this RB-CCB kit is designed to completely transform their current brake set up (iron, pccb, new, old...) to the latest and most popular CCM set up - GM's default (not optional) for Corvette ZR1 and Camaro Z28 and I am sure you know when the installation is popular it means the price is more affordable and parts are easy to get, in addition to the benefit of upgraded RB calipers (built for track duty with easy pad change feature).

This is a brake development project that has taken us considerable time, knowledge and resource to materialize. It's an unprecedented aftermarket brake offer in Porsche history and we are certain you would appreciate more of its value after you own and use it.

You can sell the kit later to other Porsche owners, or even swap the components among Porsche owners which will help populate this versatile CCB kit in Porsche community and protect your investment.

Those disks seem to look significantly different from OEM (surface). By a chance, do you have photos taken under similar circumstances of both?

Can someone pl. confirm that its possible to go from a PCCB to Porsche OEM iron rotors and pads, also if I were to do so, would I have to buy the red calipers, or can the iron rotors/pads be applied with the yellow calipers.

Thanks

You would need 380mm rotors w/ your yellow calipers. Red caliper oem iron rotors are 350mm.

Thanks, is it practical to buy the iron 350 mm rotors with red calipers and place them instead of the yellow PCCB on a turbo S.... One thing which holds me back from getting a turbo S is the cost of replacement of the PCCB even though they are supposed to have a long life.

It's much more practical to keep the yellow calipers and get the right size steel rotors and pads. But really, on a turbo s, I'd try to keep it original.

Girodisc and Brembo among others sell 380mm iron rotors. Not oem but plenty nice.

Well, I'm late to the game but these PCCB's are awesome!! Maybe it's just the whole package of the "new to me" car but DANG!!

I'd sure hate to have to replace one or the set if something happened, but I'll gamble with it for the added performance / looks.

I have the big reds on my 997 and the PCCBs on the Turbo S. I never really fell into the hype until I got my TTS. While the PCCBs are really suited for street driving unless you are ok with tens of thousands of dollars on brake jobs: the pedal feel, look, low dust, and performance really is quite impressive. I actually changed my order on the .2 GT3 to PCCBs as a result as well.
