Default Which exhaust for 997.2 turbo

Looking for an exhaust for my 2010 997.2 turbo to enhance the sound and performance of my car.

Thinking of Klein or AWE

Haven't heard the AWE, advice appreciated

Will also be getting the car mapped by 9e in the UK after having the exhaust fitted

Thanks

Probably best if you can hear for yourself in person. Especially on a .2 since we're even more muffled. I have and love the Europipe myself and would never ever go catless. Here are a bunch of videos from my research archives to give you ideas :

Related question (and the OP may be wondering the same)...

Noticed both .1 and .2 turbo sound clips shown in this thread...I always thought they sound different. Do they sound the same?

For example: I like the sound of GMG exhausts on a .1 but haven't heard it on a .2. Is it the same sound on a .2?

I have AWE on my TT and I don't like the loud drone between 2-3k RPM. When I can budget the money I will replace it. I would make sure you get to ride in a car with with the exhaust before buying. Europipe seems to be the favorite amongst the forum members here.

There are a lot of options out there on the market for the Porsche Turbos, and ours is called the Supersport X-Pipe System. Throaty, sporty, and aggressive at full throttle with an excellent pop when shifting, more sound from the turbos, and a nicely accentuated burble/overrun on decel. Off throttle it is relatively subtle and comfortable for driving on the highway and around town. Essentially a mild-to-wild setup based on throttle input, but not so wild as to be overbearing.

The 997.2 Turbo also has a LOT of potential with regards to performance. We are seeing well over 100whp/tq with just bolt ons, it is very impressive.

Here is the thread of a recent 997.2T I had come through the shop for a full performance package.

For any product inquiries or questions, feel free to shoot me a PM, give me a call at 215 646 4945 ext. 101, or email me at john.gaydos@fabspeed.com. I'd love to chat and ensure you make an educated decision on taking your vehicle up a notch

Thanks guys for all the advice, haven't yet decided which way to go.

A friend has a Klein system fitted to his car and remapped by 9E in the UK during the past few days, car now producing 630BHP

He collected the car today and seems really pleased, however I haven't seen or heard the car yet since the mode.

I have the same car and I love the Europipe Exhaust. Subtle when needed, and acoustically pleasing when driving aggressively.

this must be one of the toughest decisions out there, too many choices. Depends what you're looking for OP. Loud or smooth and not too drastic. I'm a huge fan of Milltek...

We sent two more systems to 9E in the last days. Feel free to contact Ken for a deal on a Kline exhaust, he will guide you through

You will love it!
