Big fan of Morristown, I visit often since my fiancee works there and cousin lives there. I used to go to the Chatham meet often, haven't had time this summer, also car was in the shop for 2 months. Will look to go to the next one. ECPChris has a turbo and lives over in Warren. I'll see about putting together a GTG. GL with the turbo, she's hot!

Live and work in Motown. Booming lately.
Love the buckets. I could DD this car with these seats.
Added clear protection to most of front - paint was in real good condition 8 years on.
Initial impression: The 997 turbo "feels" a lot lighter than my 996 turbo and drives much more like the RS - albeit without the heavenly engine sound or the heavy clutch pedal - more like a silent assassin. The boosted torque available on demand at low RPM also makes it feel a lot quicker than RS.

550 mile roadtrip into the mountains of Vermont and back completed. No issues with the comfort of the seats excepting the 5.5 hour stint including a jam that took an hour to go 5 miles....

Like your car !
Ditto on the seats. If you are of average height and weight there is no better seat imo.
Lots of support for lower back, perfect backrest angle and of course unparalleled side support.
I am so glad I found a set for reasonable money 4 years ago.

Like your alcantera inserts. Mine are leather. One annoyance is trying to access rear b/c of fixed back ....

What do you mean with fixed back ?
In post #16 someone posted a lot of pictures of your car and one shows the forward folded backrest.
That's the nice thing about them. You get super sport seats but still possible to access back seats.

The only issue I've noted is that due to where I have the seats positioned and the height of the LWB seat back is that I need to move the sun visors to the side in order to fold the front seats fully forward to get enough room to enter the back.
If I don't move the sunvisor and push the seats backwards before folding then there isn't enough room to get by them into the back.

Epilogue
Discovered not long after I got the car that the clutch was pretty much toast. Also realized that the car suffered from the "engine speed overshoot" issue covered by WM 287315.
Long story short, CPO covered latter, which involved dropping the engine, so while they were in there, replaced clutch w/ OEM (yes I though about upgrading to 4.0RS...) almost at parts cost alone.
Contacted selling dealer who made a "good will" gesture and covered a good part of the clutch repairs. I can say with confidence that John Wright (PNH) made it happen. A great reason to deal with a vendor half-way across the county!
I paid it forward and used their contribution for some upgrades to the turbo
So, looking forward to an early Spring...and might just be able install my DSC Sport tomorrow
