I understand I shouldn't "chase" a number... I just left a 1,000 hp Corvette, but I was just sharing my surprise and excitement with y'all that only an exhaust and tune would make such a difference! I'm thinking that since this was on a mustang dyno which reads a lower wheel hp, on a dynojet if you use a conservative 7% differential the car made around 576awhp on a VERY hot day. Not too bad.

My only plans for this car are better inner coolers, wheels, tires, and maaaaaybe bigger turbos at some point. It runs and drives soooo well right now I don't want to change a thing.

Losses are more like 17-21% last time I dyno'd. 997 tts already has the best ICs available. I wouldn't do anything beyond an exhaust and dsc box.

17-21% differential between a mustang dyno and an dynojet? Sounds like a lot!!! I was under the impression it was between a 7-12% loss...

Forgive my ignorance, but what is a dsc box?

Lots of the local car events are posted on FB.. The Maverick region of PCA has a FB group thats pretty active.. you can search and join it.. There is also a DFW Porsche Cars & Coffee once a month, too.. Lots of 997s and a few 997 turbos..

Nice dyno numbers, I got mine done at Autoscope in Dallas, also on a Mustang. You can search my threads for my dyno numbers and other mods, along with some data behind the numbers.

Welcome, hope to see you around!

These cars sell soooooo quickly. I had 3 sell before I could get this one purchased. They get posted for sale, then before you can call about them, they're gone.

This is my one firm stance against social media... I don't have a FB account. I'll look up the club meets and see if I can make one. I'm sure it's lots of fun. I have a pretty big group of Corvette guys that I still hang out with...

Thank you for the welcome, I look forward to meeting you at an event somewhere. I'll see if I can navigate this forum to find your build threads.
