Default 997.1 Turbo Tire Upsizing question

I just wanted to ask and confirm that upsizing from 235/35/19 and 305/30/19 on stock wheels, to 245/35 and 325/30 on aftermarket 9" and 12" wide wheels is ok, and will not negatively impact my 4-wheel drive system or speedometer/odometer.

I'm sure this question has been addressed elsewhere, but I couldn't find it.

Thank you, guys!

Perfect sizing for the 19x9 and 19x12

245/35 and 325/30 I prefer the chunky tire look

Go with super sports or cup 2 but be wary the cup 2 are very very slippery in the wet

I have the upsized set up in my 997.1 Turbo. Looks awesome. But i have experienced the front wheel touching the front wheel liner. i am going back to stock sizes after i have spent the current tyres.

I AM PLANNING TO DOWN SIZE THE FRONT FROM 245 TO 235, WHILE RETAINING THE REAR TO 325. WILL THIS CREATE ANY ISSUES???

OP - I'm running that set-up now and runs great. Same sizing as the WB 991's. Nice full and aggressive look.

For anyone else considering the 9x20 / 12x20 set-up, I'm selling my back-up set with the same dimensions - excellent condition, forged monoblock, satin black. PM me for details.

This is the first time I read about rubbing with 245 in the front. What wheels and suspension are you running, and what brand tire, some brands run a bit wider?
Thanks!

the sidewalks for 305’s are stretched on a 12” wheel, it’s not a good look. Is there any hard evidence of diff damage going to 325?

I use 335. Looks a little goofy. Will go back to 325 one day.

I recently went from 245/325 to 235/305. I saw some slight wear on the driver's side radiator hose while I was switching them out but it's minimal at worst.

Me too! Fatter sidewalls look better to me on the turbo. I went with OEM size spec, essentially out of concern for the contact patch and diff issues. Would love to see an 'approved' and benign set up.
