Default Tire & wheel fitmet question

Hello Rennlist,

I'm looking for information on RE71R's in OE sizes for a 997.2 tts w/CL wheels. I'm also lowered on GMG springs.

After searching it seems OE sizes are not available. Are there acceptable alternative sizes, for example 245/315 etc. using OE wheels? Recommendations on other tires that are outside the OE sizes are welcome, too.

I'm not opposed to OE sizes, I'm just trying to understand what I can get away with using OE wheels, safely.

Primary use will be AutoX and track. I have another set of wheels for DD duty.

Thank you!

Bridgestone is coming out with several new sizes (7 I believe) over the course of this spring. Hopefully what you need will be in there.

Hey Damon, what's the real story with the Michelin shortage?

Can anyone offer any advice on O.Z. Racing Ultraleggera HLT widths and offsets? I would like to optimize my tire choices, particularly Hoosiers if possible.

Wondering the same thing about MPSS....is it because the Michelin PS4 is on the horizon?

Loks kinda like the PSS and PS2 combined but then again may be in a different rating

I think I have this narrowed down. I decided on new wheels instead of using OE wheels for the track. Can someone please check my configuration? Also, keep in mind that I am lowered on GMG springs.

Size: 19x9 Offset: 47mm (front)
Size: 19x12 Offset: 48mm (rear)

I'm looking at 245/35 325/30 tires.

Many thanks!

Bump.

I'm new to this platform, so I'm sorry if this seems redundant. Can anyone offer any useful advice.

Thanks!

Wondering this myself. It's really difficult to find the 305 MPSS for the past 2 springs.
