Thinking about buying 997.2
So I'm interested in buying a 2010/2011 997.2 and I'm wondering how much I should expect to pay? The KKB values, NADA and asking prices are a bit all over the place.
KKB from a low of 66000(rough private) to 92000(extra clean retail)
NADA from a low of 62000(private) to 74000(clean retail)
with most asking prices start at the high end. of both sources regardless of private or dealer selling. Some asking prices soar to 115,000.
Even if we start off at the asking prices and bid lower we are talking about bidding substantially lower than these used car guides.

Which 997.2 model are you looking for particularly? Mileage? Turbo, Cab, Coupe, PDK, 6spd etc...
Porsche offered over $20k of options on these cars so prices will vary just for that reason alone.

$110k for mine, 8500 miles on it when I got it 9 or so months ago. I love it like some people love their kids or dogs or wife .
I have none of those, just my car, so yes, I adore and love this car. I searched for a long time for one less expensive with the options I wanted but I had to have the adaptive sport seats, silver/black, PCCB's, center spoke wheels, under 20k miles, and it had to be a Turbo S Coupe.
I wished I could have gotten the car for less, but every car I looked at for less had an issue with it. This was from a Ferrari Dealer and it was "as new". $178k MSRP when new. I can't recommend these cars enough. So in the end, it was my 96 C4S plus $50 got me this car. Sweet.

Bought my CPO 2012 manual coupe 16 months ago with 23k miles for $93k. Had to travel a thousand miles to Louisville, Kentucky to make it happen. $151k MSRP. Love it like a fat kid loves cake!

If you got your sights on a 997.2 2011 or above and particular about your options, it would take while to find a good one just because there are just not so many coupe available.
I bought my 997.1 TT 2 months ago with 18k miles on it and basically BNEW and a MT for less than $70k. Have you thought about looking at it?
I looked and compared before I pulled the trigger on my 997.2 TT but most of them with comparable miles and options are still 100-110K. But I found one for less than that, meaning, something will crop up and be ready to buy it.
My car has not been listed and I did not allow it to be listed and bought it ASAP. Because I know its hard to get the right car.
So those people who got their cars for less than that a year ago had a good deal.
