When you line up to go out in your group hang toward the back -- it's not fun having clowns tailgating you waiting to pass (and there always are some of those in each group). It's more fun passing than being passed. Other than that listen to your instructor, drive at your comfort level and enjoy!

1. Slow
2. Don't follow other drives bad lines
3. Build speed progressively
4. Keep weight to rear on turn in
5. Take a ride with an instructor
6. Have fun, be safe and post pictures

There are a few videos on youtube from professional car drivers doing Sebring, i would suggest watching them several times and learning the line they take. That should help your learning curve by quite a bit. Sebring is a lot of fun, technical. Dont forget to also take some pressure of your tires beforehand as the heat will increase the PSI.

i'm hitting up a HPDE with the BMWCCA in a couple months. Looking forward to it. What did you do for a car prep? Brake flush? etc...

pads, fluids, and tech inspection .... already had new rubber ...

I needed rotors but figured first track day wouldn't be an issue ..

But just ordered new Brembo rotors to install before the next track day ..

This hobby could become expensive
