Default Silly NA 997 guys...

Don't these guys know that the 997TT.1, with the last of Mezger engines combined with manual 6sp, is the next 993? Silly dreamers, those normally aspirated 997 guys...

Horse power and wide rear fenders will always win.

I have a 993 non turbo, and the turbo 993 demands around $75-$100k more.

Supply and demand will determine the next car that accelerates in value. Right now, the NA cars are plentiful even with MT's. Who's to say the next trend in car collecting isn't to revolt on all of the turbo charging and look for a more pure and simple car?

Never know... I think it makes the most sense just to buy as many low mile cars as you can afford and horde them. Oh wait, that's what my wife says I do

I approach my car purchases like Jerry Seinfeld. I buy them to enjoy them, not to collect them or as an investment. Jerry has a few more cars than I have....

didn't you hear Porsche no longer offering a manual? If you own a 6sp you have the next highly appreciating 911!

Porsche has always been offering MT for 911 but we want that tranny in the TT and GT cars.

It seems like the latest turbo buyers are into acceleration stats and a manual car simply can't compete with the efficiency and speed of pdk, especially compared to mclaren, gtrs, corvette z06s etc

I agree it seems a lot are focused on 0-60 times or a qtr mile run. I nvr go to the strip or line up at a light against a GTR. From a purist standpoint I want a manual metzger for my own enjoyment. I'm no race car driver and even if a manual is a bid slower ***** to the wall so what. They are Plenty fast enough for me.
