Default Changing function of Tiptronic buttons?

I just bought a Sport steering wheel from a Tip car,.. that will be going into my manual trans '07 Turbo.

Is there a way to make the Tip buttons function as volume and pre-set buttons?

My car currently has a multi-function wheel,. but the buttons are almost entirely useless.

The buttons do nothing (at least nothing that I ever do in a car) except the volume,.. and that takes multiple rolls of the thumb to make a note-worthy change. So I just use the **** on the radio itself.

The button I want most doesn't exist at all,.. that being one to toggle through radio pre-sets and CD tracks. I use that button 5x a mile in my GM vehicle it seems.

I don't have Durametric,.. so does anyone that's familiar with that know if that can be done?
