Default New to me 997 TT, Clutch Pedal question

Last week I picked up a 07 Turbo in excellent shape, documented service etc, but at 55K miles, No evidence of a clutch replacement in it's history. Today I noticed a little creaky (audible) and sponginess toward the bottom of the pedal stride, when releasing, only at low speed, such as in first, and 2nd, It doesn't seem to be slipping or anything, Any ideas?

Sounds like a throwout bearing.

After another drive, another note is that it does not happen when in neutral, pedal makes no noise, feels fine, It's mainly observed in reverse and 1st.

Although it might not be your problem you can read up galore on the accumulator and slave cylinder on the 997tt. Many dont like the vague feeling and inconsistency. Luckily it is fixable and best to do when/if you ever get a new clutch.
