Love the color! At a fair price, I'd buy in a heartbeat. Probably the only green '09 TT with MT. Needs black wheels to improve/complete the look. At this price, I hope they like it as much as I do - they're going to be looking at it for a long time...

If it had PCCB's and I was turbo-less... I would be interested too!

And here you thought it was stunning, even more , you said it is second best after Mexico blue. Also a 997TT :

A GT3 is a 911. It does not become something else because it has a big wing and a slightly different bumper. If a color works on a GT3 it works on any 911. In the end GT3 is just a marketing name for a track tuned 911.

Love red too btw. Great color on any 911. But as colors go for a Porsche it is definitely in the safe camp.

It's just an asking price. It's a really great color for someone who wants a car in that color. If I lived in Florida or California, and I was more wild... and crazy, I'd negotiate for it (if I didn't already have my car). If, if, if...

I wonder if the camera is washing out the true color of the turbo? Maybe with a different set of wheels that don't have the bright and shiny look of the turbo wheels? Great machines. I wouldn't think you would have to worry about two of these showing up to a C&C.

wow i guess the black CLW just did it for me. Wheels really change the vehicle, I think the silver turbo wheels look awful on that color.

There I agree with you. Those wheels have no business on that stunning car.

I always thought the stock 997TT (both 1 and 2) wheels looked plain and not very nice anyway.

But wheels are easily changed.
So we also agree than the car is not for pimps or color blind people ?

Yes i would rock it with black or gunmetal wheels. Somehow I think the silver stock wheels look good on red.

Assuming your point is that you can't get away with wild colors like this on GT cars I would agree with you totally! Colors like this in many ways differ the GT cars from the usual line up in a unique sense and work well with the extrovert nature of the spoilers, decals and so forth.

However to most buyers colors like this on regular models screams out the message "I want to be a GT3 RS".......but for most, in reality, the look doesn't cut it....nor ever will....no matter how hard one tries. Imo putting wheels and spoilers on it to help it along just makes it even worse because at the end of the day it ain't a GT3 and IMO gives the impression that the car is trying too hard to be something it's just not.

I do think the buyer will need to re-think the wheels. I'm biased, but I like mine more:
