I took my wheels off to have them painted, and got them back on.
Then the battery went flat. I charged it and it's all good now, but the TPS light is always saying I have a flat tyre, or add air, one tyres lower etc.
They have the right pressures because I checked 10 times.
I even deflated and refilled just to make sure.
The book says to reset, which I did but it still comes on and then goes off.
Is there a magic button anywhere? Or a master reset?
It's just annoying.
Thanks
Reset can take a while to find all the sensors. I'm not sure about the 997 sensors, but many sensors only transmit on pressure changes when the wheels aren't moving in order to save battery.
I'd fill them to the right pressure, reset, and take a drive where there won't be any other cars around.
I just set mine for my winter wheels and tires. The recommended pressures are 37 front and 44 rear when cold.
My TPM system has always displayed pressures that are roughly 4 PSI lower than my tire pressure gauge. I did have to drive my car several miles after I reset it for winter wheels before it registered the new pressures.
