agree on the tax benefit stuff, as well as trade leaves no headache after the deal

my 08TT 6sp w/ great factory options and 30k miles traded in for 68 back in april, blk/blk

i think your number is pretty good, just make sure the deal on the 991 is appropriate for late september w/ 16s coming

Why not wait to see the 2016 line up. They're all getting big upgrades with turbos and more power. If the 991.2S of getting ~500hp you know the new 991.2 TT is going to be significantly upgraded.

I agree with above, take a look at the 2016 real Turbo...

For the 991.2 baby turbos:

Walter Röhrl is saying the new turbo flat-six motors will produce 349bhp from a 2.7L and 430bhp from a 3.0L motor for the Carrera and Carrera S respectively

That's a good deal. From what's I've seen, 60k mile cars go for $60k +

I think it's actually a fair price as well, I just bought a 2007 911 turbo with 29k miles for $61,000 from a dealer, car is about an 8, but dealer had it awhile and wasn't there car to sell, and he told me he was into the car at the same price, $61,000.

You could sell it privately at $65,000, but if you consider the tax savings, since you only pay tax on the difference in price, it's really the same $ as the trade, either way, great luck with the new 911 Turbo, my friend just got one and it's a monster.

Chris is very close. I just ran your car on Kelly Blue Book Value for a trade in and low 60's is the best that you will get with approximately 50,000 miles. 2016 is fast approaching. Another year against the trade. If you really like the "S" then go for it.

Sage advice, thx gents.

We'll see what happens. The TTS is still so highly priced that, even if I were to get the car at almost invoice, it still sits higher than almost anything else before you jump into Aston or used Ferrari territory.

Just an FYI:
If you're a PCA member, check out the classifieds as there's a '15 TTS for sale privately at a substantial discount.
No affiliation.

There seems to be no differences between the '15 vs '16 991TT or the TTS. I went to another dealer Sat and he has both '15s and a '16 TTS on his floor - no differences it seems.

Per GM there, updates to the TT and TTS won't happen until '17 MY
