Ashtray spring?
Hi guys --
After lurking and lightly looking for a 997 turbo for the past couple years I finally picked up an '07 a couple weeks ago. Haven't had much of a chance to drive it as I am in the process of completing a full interior and exterior detail and am also waiting for some papers to come in before registering it.
In any case, in the process of cleaning I removed the ashtray and the damn spring popped out. Luckily I didn't lose it but am having trouble figuring out how to reorient it.
Can one of you take a pick of the side of the ashtray with the spring installed and post it here? If I see how it is supposed to be oriented I am sure I'll be able to replace it easily.
