ATF change done! Actually 12 year service done on 07 Turbo Tip for a new friend David
Can be done by one person second helps for the topping procedure.
Search for WM 375854 Replacing ATF filter or WM 370255 Changing ATF
PM me with your email and I can send the parts list and full procedure
This is on a 07 Turbo with 65K
I do have trouble with PMs on this site same user at 6speed.
Tools needed
I have summarized steps below.
Measure the fluid removed as you will compare it to what’s going back in be mindful that the temperature of the fluid is different new vs old. I used 12 liters total. (3) 4-liter bottles
Drain the fluid and disconnect the harness, the procedure states remove the coolant lines I found it unnecessary.
Remove pan.
Changing the filter is straight forward, clean pan and magnet.
Close everything up and fill with the amount of fluid you removed use old crush washer. I then started the car run its through its gears 10 seconds each, mixing the new with the old fluid. Drain and repeat.
Drain fluid one last time close the drain plug use new crush washer and refill until it runs out of control bore.
Start car and follow procedure run it though the gears for 10 seconds each.
monitor the temperature I used the PIWIS 2 a thermometer with a wired probe would work, get the sensing tip immersed in the fluid.IR gun may also work usually 3 degrees less than inside.
Checking and topping up the ATF
· The selector lever must be in position "P" and the engine must be idling.
The ATF temperature at the start of testing must not be higher than → ATF temperature: 40 degree Celsius
1. PIWIS Tester 97180 must be connected before calling up the ATF temperature.
2. Put selector lever in position "P", start vehicle, and allow engine to idle.
3. Top up ATF via the charging valve until ATF runs out at the control bore.
4. With the brake pedal pressed, change through all selector lever positions, remaining in each position for approximately → Time: 10 s.
5. Top up ATF through the charging valve again until ATF emerges at the inspection bore.
What threw me off is I was only able to read the temperature in R or D not park
I ended up precisely measuring the old fluid and put back the same amount to validate the correct level.
Each drain will get you about 3 liters the first one a bit more when removing the pan and filter.

Awesome write up and photo - thanks very much for sharing.
Can you fill the tiptronic trans through the control port? I thought I saw that on a couple other DIY posts.
And what fluid did you use for the rear diff?

I just went ahead and paid the Porsche tax ($50) for the connecting hose. Not worth the potential headache to find out filling through the control port is the wrong way to do it.

Wound up finding one available at Porsche Plano since Circle Porsche needed to get it from Germany. They were kind enough to let me know Plano had one in stock. It's coming tomorrow, assuming these storms don't flood Houston again
I'll snap a photo once I get it.
