mystery exhaust, who is the best sleuth here??
any idea who made this exhaust for 997.1 TT?
There are no identifying marks that i can find.
it sounds bad a$$, but is very loud.
probably has 100 cell cats.
I was amazed i passed CA smog.
cheers

and on a related note.
I'm currently shopping for used aftermarket exhaust to replace this.

That's an old fvd pre MM muffler, you can tell by the mesh couplers. That's the same design used on their 996tt line. They had the reputation of being extremely loud, soon thereafter fvd partnered with MM to make a new line of fvd exhausts. MM is the sole supplier for porsche motorsports.
