I'm wondering how many .1 MT coupes were GT silver!

And for that matter, how many .1 MT coupes with PCCB?
Unfortunately I didn't differentiate between Arctic Silver or GT Silver. The same is true for the steel or PCCB rotors. Given the additional costs and my recollection of the cars for sale used in this analysis, you have a rare car indeed! Enjoy!

Ed, great job with the analysis and thank you!
Do you know how many 2009 997 GT2s were built by any chance? I recall 28 or 29.
(I recently picked up one of these with

Congratulations on your recent and rare find! I only analyzed the 997 turbos, but I know from personal experience there are not a lot of GT2s out there. What are your impressions of this amazing car?

I know I'm bumping an older thread here, but could someone please tell me how to determine how many ruby red 2008 MT coupe turbo's were built?
I just picked up a low mileage RR and love the color. Just curious how rare it is since I'd never seen it before I found mine.

Thanks for a great thread and great information.

There is no way to determine the exact number. This information isn't published by Porsche.

Yes, basalt black is a metallic color.
There's also a flat black.

We've all been conditioned to think the rarer the car the more inherent value. If this analysis is accurate then my 09 MT is one of 226 so equipped, if 10% were white then mine is one of 23 6 speed coupes in that color. Add in the PCCB's, adaptive sport seats and all the other stuff it has and it's virtually one of a kind...

Sorry revive a old thread but since we are discussing this very thing on BAT, I'd love to really know how rare my 09' 6spd is based on the color combo White/Red alone. In most circles option tend to fall by the wayside when the hammer falls. Regards, (BAT) Easter...

There's a site that's been floating around recently that somehow has a database of all the different color/option combos sold in North America in the watercooled era. The intent is to help people find their specific dream Porsche and it can tell you exactly, for example, how many 08s came with PCCBs and Macademia Brown and a 6mt. Hopefully someone can provide the link.
