Wow, over 2/3rds (72%) of the cars were black or grey! I knew there were a lot, but that's more than I thought.

Thanks for posting!

Thank you for that! That is sobering…I am looking for 09 997.1 Turbo with a manual…so there are only 200+/- out there (given attrition for accidents, etc.)… I better load up on patience. Thank you for posting, this is very informative!

3200 is not a lot of 6mt coupes. 993tt US production had similar numbers and you see how rare they are now.
Good stuff

Thanks for that info. When I bought my 09TT new, originally I planned a 10GT3 in PTS Signal Red (356 color), but broke down and went for a TT instead. I spent a LOT of time pondering color, eventually decided on black (same as my previous 997.1C2S), even though black is a PITA. Got Basalt as the dealer had one black and one Basalt TT, MT; Basalt had Adaptive Sport Seats, short shifter, PCCB's, Limited Slip, Black one did not have Adaptive Sport Seats. No regrets, it is a beautiful Beast.

As I recall, my dealer had a large contingent of '09 TT's, and a bunch of them (6-8?) were in that "cream" color they had in '09, not my cup of tea by a long shot. PCNA must have shoved them down the dealers' throats. Mostly Tips (in all colors). Don't remember much other color selection. Market was strange at the time with the 08-09 financial meltdown. They offered me s**t for my 05C2S trade, and I kept it as I was PO'd at their offer and for some not so good reasons kept it and sold it 4-5 years later for what they offered me.

Got my "keeper", can't keep blowing dough to upgrade every few years, but whether I knew it or not at the time, definitely bought a keeper. Got a 5-year Fidelity warranty (cheap, with a great deal from my dealer) when the OEM warranty was ending, it has already paid for itself with a a water pump replacement.

Congratulations on your purchase selection that is in the keeper category! 2009 was a strange time for high end cars, in fact using the CarFax information that was available for the vehicles I reviewed, some turbos sat for 6 to 9 months at the dealership before being sold.
