you can get a set of sensors for like $380 and a set of Bridgestone S04s for about $1k.

just do it.

I've seen the sensors as low as 125$ on eBay, but I usually go with the tire rack 380$ (or less) when I buy tires. Re11s around 1100$, ss about 1200. Lots of options, good car.

If you sell the car as is, **** people will walk away while others will low ball it.

Best to have everything working even if on old tires. Do the TPMS.
If the tires have decent tread, then leave em. Somebody might beable to bang out a summer with them.

The market for 07-09 Turbos might turn around at some point... You sure you wanna sell it?

It's turning now, try and find a nice one now, tough.
Agree, replace the tpms, a good tire man can do it without dismounting the tire, just breaking the bead on one side is enough.

Thanks for the responses, I agree the market is firming up. My luck I sell and the mezger manuals pop, like the air cooled cars did from one year to the next. This car market is so unpredictable.

Thanks,

Larry

sorting out TPMS (TPC) issues can be more challenging = $$$ than just replacing sensors.

true, it's not a big deal if you are willing to write a bigger check.

True, but I think the majority of these cars that have tpms issues are purely due to the sensor batteries aging out. Life span approx 6 yrs according to Beru.
Other system issues can be very expensive to fix, thankfully rare.

Some good thoughtful advice here. I'm liking the 997tt community on RL more and more.

Nice color combo ! i Love the silver on red ! I looked for a long time for one and gave up and bought black on black.. good luck with it .. and yea as others have said ... tires and sensors.. that would be enough for me to not buy a car, that may sound nit picky but its true and to be honest aside from a small portion of people buying and looking for these cars the majority are not "car" guys and would walk over something like that.

I was told 70mo. so seems like we can accurately say that is correct. I'll dbl check when I did mine and the build date.
