My first porsche!!
Hello! Im 38yrs old, live in Puerto Rico and recently changed my bmw 135 for a 2011 yellow porsche turbo w 10k on it. I smile by just looking at it. Only question is about pasm in sport. It does not feel as hard as everyone told me; in fact i dont feel much of a change. Also the back end of car feels a little bit unstable. Have new tyres, balance and aligment performed and checked on mechanic for any visual problems. Im not used to driving this car maybe is normal behavior??

Congratulations on the purchase. Great looking car.
PASM in sport mode is pretty harsh in some of the places we live in the 48. Terrible roads, with bumps, chatter bumps, undulating, and the potholes...I recall PR to have pretty smooth roads IMO. (But you can correct me if I'm wrong).

Congratulations on your upgrade! I love my BMWs, but for performance the turbo is in a different class.
I am running Michelin PSS tires on my turbo and without any stability issues. Porsche recommends "N" rated tires, and I recall my service manager telling me he routinely replaces the "N" rated tires with PSS, but for other brands he would not make such a switch.

Beautiful car and welcome to the forum!
In regards to your car feeling unstable in the rear, can you describe under what conditions? If you are on cold tires, while pushing boost on an exit ramp for instance, you shall feel some instability in the rear.. if you can, sign up for some DE events in PR, its a great and safe way to get acquainted with the car and its dynamics, especially being your first rear engined car, which happens to be turbo charged. It will bring great joy and an incredible driving experience, just give it respect when pushing it. iMHO There's no other car like it.

Is it on stock suspension? It looks like it could be lowered. If so, definitely consider the TPC DSC.

Congratulations and welcome to the 997 Club
btw. Your rear tire looks odd. May be its just the angle that you took the photo. I would make sure the size is 305/30 (standard 997 turbo rear tires).
