I actually think i like the front of the 997 better. The sides are a wash but i would give the edge to 997 because of the vents. That being said the back of the 991 is much better IMO. Makes the 997 look very dated. Its not just the light technology, but the shape as well. Kinda like looking at a car from the 80-90s headlights vs HID/LED. The hid/led just look more modern.

Interior, no contest... 991!

I prefer the looks of the 997 as well. Although my decision of buying the 997 was mainly due to the modding potential, and to have a new project. I also prefer the cabin and feel of the 997 over the 991. The inside of the 991 is basically a panemera, the 997 cabin is more spartan, and focused.

I traded my 2012 991c2s for a 2012 997TTS.

Yes, the upright seating position is more focused on the 997. Also, I too don't like the 991 interior all that much. My friend bought one back in 12, still prefer the 997, time has not changed my mind.
