Where can you order these for the turbo?
Aaron, You just picked up your TT and your already planning changes? You're hooked like the rest of us…..I just got a pair of clear factory guards from my dealer and I think I'll probably put those on for now along with a complete front end wrap which will be done later this week I hope. I've just had the car completely detailed so I'm trying not to drive it till the wrap is on, but it hasn't been easy! I did a little searching for black stone guards for a 997 but came up empty, but I didn't spend a lot of time on the task, does anyone have a lead on these?

Keep'em clear. Looks too "busy" with the black on white IMO.

I like the look on a white car. It's easy to change if you get tired of it. It's all part of making the car unique for you.

Regardless of where you on the rock guard question, variety is the spice of life, it would be boring if everyone's car looked the same…...

I've looked, but the closest I've come so far are only for regular 997's, no turbo. Of course they could be custom cut if we just had to try it. As I type this there's a guy in my garage putting a wrap on my front clip, he's also replacing my rear guards with new OEM clear pieces, the originals were getting a little scuzzy on the edges and it shows on a white car, so I've lost a little energy on the issue, but I still might change if we find them. Magnagrafik makes various shields, some even magnetic so you can place them over your vinyl shields as you choose, but only for the non-turbo's...

Aaron, Funny you should post pictures of this particular TT, I kept coming back to this specific car during my search because I loved its look, it influenced my posting this question. This silver TTS is one great looking car IMHO, with it's retro wheels, the lower black rockers and the black stone guards. I never acted on this particular car given it was a lightly depreciated newer S.

Haha I knew I saved these pictures for a reason. We have similar taste. If only 997.2 Turbo S's came in manual!

Yea Aaron, it was party the PDK (I was being seduced by the horsepower and acceleration) but they were asking like 139K for this 11 TTS if i remember correctly. My 09 has been more fully depreciated and is an absolute blast to drive 6 speed, PCCB's and all…...

Your white 09 turbo is definitely one of the coolest spec'd turbos around! Let's enjoy manual for a little while longer at least.
