Default help with air box upgrade - 997 TT

Hello ,
I am new member and am looking for some advice regarding air box upgrades. I unfortunately have to eliminate my Werks 1 air box because the new lid and wing sent from W.... wont clear the air box. Can anyone give me some advice on an air box that fits like the factory but has better performance? The throttle body and plenum have been upgraded as well. Your response is greatly appreciated.

I have read a lot of stuff that said one of the best performing is the factory air box. I have no personal experience with others though. gl

Do not waste your money on an airbox..No mater what other mods you have there is not an aftermarket box that will increase performance. Factory is best. CF ones are pretty but do nothing except drain your wallet.

Spend your money elsewhere like and exhaust and tune (if you don't have those already.)

Keep your OEM airbox... You are driving a Porsche 997TT no a 65 Mustang.... There is not need to change the air filter.

The werks1 is at least nicely made and seals properly.

There are some poorly made ones.
I've seen so-called hot air intakes... Real shame to take the really-well sealed and designed factory air box for pair of over sized cone filters Sucking hot air into a turbulence inducing heat-soaked poorly joined pipe etc....

Stock is great
