Personally, I wouldn't touch a car that heavily modified. Plenty of bone stock, legit cpo cars out there for the same or less $.

Then I would just go and mod them myself. What I like about this car, it's
loaded, has very low miles and the mods were done by a well known dealer
with plenty of racing and mod experience. Think I am going to go with the
CPO though.

Does the "FVD 555 stage 2" in your signature pertain to your Turbo? If so, did
you have it done or did it come like that? Is that not considered "heavily modified"?

No I did that to it and it's very mild, that's my point. Mods are fine, but I prefer to do my own, that's all.
Just do an extensive ppi and you'll be fine.

It was inspected and they are doing the CPO. I understand about doing your own mods but I am getting a very low mile car and paying 20 to 30 cents on the dollar
for the mods, maybe less, car probably, with labor, has 35k to 45k in it. IMO not
a bad deal.

I can see the appeal, particularly if all the mods are documented. Glad you're doing the CPO. Seems like the right thing to do if you expect Champion to cover things, even if they might cover them anyway. The world can always use a little more goodwill.

Doing the mod work is fun. But, you've got plenty of room to go up. Maybe you'll get that 1,000 hp itch.

I'd consider this one, if I were looking right now:

I was looking at that one too and was strongly considering it, but since I plan to keep the car for a while, I made up my mind that I will only get a 09!

90k for a 07 with 19k miles? Is that competitive? Like the exterior, interior not so much.

That is a little pricey if it were a low optioned stock '07. However, it is pretty decently optioned car.

The Werks 1 parts (front lip, rear diffuser) and EP exhaust are 8-9k right there, if you want to sell the parts. It even has an Werks 1 air box and I'm sure it has a tune. The TechArt wheels (though not my favorite) could fetch a couple bucks too. You are probably looking at about 20k in the Werks1, exhaust/tune/wheels.
The clearbra too is a nice touch.

Aside from the wheels and airbox, I like the mods and would consider this car. The place that's selling it moves a lot of Porsches, so it'll likely go for something close to asking.

I love the 997tt
I can't believe how prices have tanked.
Makes my 2012 GTR black edition look better in terms of depreciation.
Think I will grab a 997ttcab .Might as well have the best of both worlds!

Guess I'm getting a decent deal on the 08 Werks 1 from Champion.

I just check Champion's website. If you are referring to the '08 slate gray, I agree. Love the factory options!

That's the one. Pretty much had everything I was looking for plus the extra hp.
