Daily Driver
How is the TT as a daily driver? I was originally looking at a GT3, but realize that my 2-3 track weekends a year really doesn't warrant such a track purposed car. I plan as I have with past P-Cars to drive it daily. My previous RSA was set-up for the track and not the greatest daily driver due to very stiff suspension set-up. I'm hoping the TT would be a great 80/20, street/track car.
Feedback from DD's and/or light track users are really appreciated!

Certainly depends on road conditions, but you will not be disappointed with the turbo as a daily. Comfortable and cruiser when you want it, beast when you need it.

Use mine at least two days a week. It shares duty with other P cars but is a great daily driver. Amazing how sedate the car can be below 2800 rpm. The only weather I leave it home is when snow is falling or unplowed streets. I keep the summer tires on all year long but in cold weather with dry streets, it is fine to drive, just not spirited driving.

Funny, I planned a bunch of track days this yr, only one or two materialized, classic.
TT is the perfect DD, esp with snows in the winter, and as docile as the suspension may seem compared to a gt3, stock for stock it will spank a gt3 on any track, the inconvenient truth..

My 09 TT MT is my daily and I virtually never leave home without it. Fantastic DD's, beast when you need it. Also with an 11 y/o and 8 y/o, its a great "family" car too!

'07 7TT was a my DD for 6 years and prior to that an '01 6TT for 6 years. Great, reliable cars...with AWD you can go any where any time.
Just heads-up, depending on your body size you may find getting in and out of the low car on a regular basis a pain...and some folks prefer A.S.S. over base seats or buckets...and you'll need a safe(r) place to park the car at airports and such...

Mine has been a DD for 3 years.. It's lowered and still is extremely comfortable on 80% of roads.
I don't track it but I do frequent Angeles Crest Canyon runs with my crazy *** friends. It's an amazing car. I give it a good "pat on the head" every time I drive it. Great DD!

been driving mine several days a week since last October, I wouldn't want to rely on it solely as it's a 6 speed, but it is a great car in comparison to my others, it's just my knee and ankle's are a bit 'aged'
and the shifting, believe it or not, takes it's toll.......
BUT, if I had an automatic...........I could see driving it daily

Any proof on the above comment, as I was considering trading up to a 997GT3 for more spirited agile performance but if its no quicker or better l may stick with Turbo.

Lots of varying opinions GT3 vs Turbo on previous thread.

I traded my '07 GT3 for an '07 997TT. Given I wanted a true daily driver and now want to have my kids ride with me, it was the best choice for me. And yes, the TT is a lot faster, particularly with a tune!
