Well this car didn't work out. Seller agreed to sell (in writing) and agreed to take it to the P dealer for the PPI. Then out of nowhere he said he couldn't make the appt and stopped communicating. Could have been some issues so probably for the best. I'm in no rush and will eventually find the right car. Want to get some opinions on an ultra-low (maybe too low) mileage 08 but I'm posting in a new thread.

Mine has 32k over four years and there are many here on RL with much higher mileage that are still going strong.
32k and STILL going strong

(you call that "mileage" )

Post The everyday supercar

@No Pasaran:
Exactly my point. Although, my grammar and punctuation could be better. In the last sentence, I should have used a . instead of the word "and". That would more clearly have conveyed my thoughts which are:
1. I have a trouble free 32k mile car.
2. There are many higher mileage 997 Turbos that are also trouble free.
3. It seems we in the Turbo community are beginning to emulate Ferrari owners in how we regard mileage and I think it is uncalled for. Porsches in general are highly reliable especially in comparison to other exotic/super cars.

Sorry to hear this car didn't work out for you, and I saw you didn't go with the ultra low mileage one either.

Enjoy your continuing quest. I am sure you will find a gem eventually.
