problem with rocker switch to open convertible top
hi there
im new! small problem, bought a souped up 997 turbo cab off a friend. opened the top for the first time but then as soon as i tried to close the convertible top with the rocker switch again, the switch would not respond at all. i had to close the top by using the the ignition key instead which meant i had to take the ignition key out of the ignition and then press the button on the ignition key without the engine running. i checked all the fuses and they seem to be fine. So now the rocker switch wont even let me open the top any longer either.....Anyone else had this problem ? any idea of a solution?

Hi Zeus. Problem sorted. Went to Porsche dealer and he was baffled but found out that the cable at the back of the rocker switch somehow disconnected. He reconnected it and didn't charge me for it ! Works fine now. Thanks!
