^Yes - I love your passion! I am sure your wife (like mine) knows that we could have much much worse habits...
OT: Don't get into Kustom cars!...I once built a car to run for the Riddler...it took 4 years and I consider myself a designer but before long I was dragging 12 people working on this car...nothing on the car can be left unchanged!

Igooz...never crossed my mind to enter any event. This is purely for my pleasure...I actually love the journey of every build and then enjoy driving them.
The 993tt we built is one of the most memorable cars I've ever driven...not the fastest I have in my garage but just for pure enjoyment of going through the gears and listening at the air cooled engine wail is priceless. My audio upgrade in that car is very good and most of the time I'm driving it with the windows down just enjoying the mechanicals of the car.
The 997tt cab will be special GT car for me...but the 993 wide body Speedster project will be epic in that the NA experience will be worth the wait. The combination of paring off weight (goal of 300 lbs), rebuilding the 3.6 to its full potential by Steve Weiner@Rennsport, and adding a close ratio gear box will make the driving experience just stupendous.
Yea...I've got a sickness.

AMGfan...well it seems like you are making everything with this car just how you want it. WOW...C2 does great work.
Do you know if C2 does maintenance work like custom alignments to my specs?

AMGfan, WOW. How can I have missed this?
Looks very very nice! Love it!
Can you shed some light on the high quality leather you are using? What separates it from the OEM Porsche leather and where do you buy it? Did you redo the whole interior just because you wanted better quality leather and not because of the colour? That's what I call dedication. Very nice

V...the leather is much more supple than OEM. This is coming from a leather manufacturer/distributor in Canada. We actually got the Pagani leather from them for my wide body SL65 project I'm doing...if this read leather is supple...the Pagani leather is like butter its so soft.
At first we were only going to do certain panels but we just didn't like the color difference between the OEM leather with the new leather...so hence everything was done...so far 60hrs of labor and counting...
Back seat delete...hidden subwoofer enclosure behind the driver side seat. The CF trim matches the back of the GT3 seats...
I do have a surprise for the exterior that might impact the back seat view...

The tailpipe setup is not my thing but I do like the removable Speedster humps...
We'll see how it looks...

V...the leather in the 993tt and this build are similar in suppleness...as long as I clean and condition them properly they should last. I'll get the detail so of the distributor when I talk to the shop on Monday.
Some more pics of CF converted parts came in and better pics of what I posted above...
