Default Help - Turbo noise

Hello all,

Last week I had a maintenance done for 20k miles. Post the maintenance I heard my turbos spooling up more that I had previously. Now a few days later I get a loud turbo whooshing notice when I am at full throttle.

Any ideas what could be happening here?

Thanks in advance for your advice.

What was done as part of the 20K maintenance? Do you still get 17+psi on over boost?

I would be checking to make sure all the hoses were reinstalled properly. Even if you're still hitting proper boost a leak will make the turbos work harder to make up for what's escaping.

I vote as well for a loose hose, maybe unsetteled by accident during the maintenance job...

Regrets for the delay in response as I was traveling for a couple of days. Thanks for the thoughts. I'm bringing it in this week and will let you know what happened.

Guys thanks for the great responses. The intake hose was off. Problem solved.
