When I purchased the car from Pfaff Porsche, I had them respray the front bumper as it had more rock chips than my liking - I had them spray the grill white at the same time. I believe it was an option from the factory, possibly not in north america but the white press car in 2007 with the factory aerokit also had the painted white grill.

You are correct, option code CNF -Front Intake Grill Ext Color. I think this is going to be my next mod. I have a new front spoiler to get painted and installed so might as well try to get it done at the same time.

My 09 997.1 TT has a new garage mate. Just arrived this evening, it's a beautiful 78 SC. I'm going to leave them in the garage tonight to let them get to one each other better....

Talbot yellow, a very rare option on apparently mid 70's 911's. I've been told that 78 was the last year, but not sure on that. When you look up factory colors by year it never shows on the charts, but it was available. It's the original color and I've only seen one other, it's has a golden hue, and almost seems metallic at times.
