I had it on my car and they are pretty sick! They have aluminum protection in the bottom so if you are careful nothing will happen to it...
The rear diffuser is a pain in the butt...

Just had a wonderful drive up Highway 1 from So Cal to Carmel. It one of the great drives in America, particularly in a TT! This little station in Carmel Highlands is along the way. Tomorrow's gonna be a thrilling return trip.....

Hopefully you are staying at Carmel Valley Highlands Inn, or at least stopped there for a cocktail. Amazing ocean views from the bar/lounge area. It's less than a half mile south of the gas station you stopped at for photos. Enjoy your drive back home.

Nice pictures! I did this drive last summer while on vacation in a C63 rental and had a great time. While that was fun, I can only imagine what it's like in the Turbo. One of these days....

VID997, You've got good taste....I've enjoyed a few stays at the Highlands Inn, a really nice place, but lately I've been staying at a much smaller place right next door, in fact you drive to it on the road that takes you up the the HI. It's the Tickle Pink Inn (no, it's not pink, it's named after a variety of rose that was bred by the owners of the estate the inn is built on). Most of the rooms have views that rival those you see from the HI restaurant and bar. Here's a view from the balcony of my room.
