There is a You tube video of a fellow you bought a EP1 after having Tubi. While this is obviously subjective, he found the Tubi tended to drone, something he says the EP1 does not (I can concur on the lack of drone with EP1). The video also has relatively good sound reproduction of the EP1 if a person is looking for more representative samples to listen to.

^^ don't even get me going on tubi. Soooooo glad i got rid of mine. AP328 i may the that bloke you are talking about. The tubi droned no question about it and it made no power at all....zip. It made a bit of extra noise on the outside but pretty damn ordinary at that and inside was an absolute shocker. Didn't sound anything like a porsche....more like a japanese POS. And i disagree with the comment that it fits up good.....laughable. For the money it was no where near worth it....made the EP look like an absolute gift to the least.

Europipe all the way. There is no substitute. Definitely wouldn't touch anything from Agency shower or babaspeed... I'd leave it stock. EP or nothing. If you haven't got the money at the moment for an EP then just save it for when you do. You won't regret it. The EP is a bargain.

Clarification, I had the older 2 can tubi system that did not drone at all, the later single can does indeed drone.
I think it's a design issue, but strangely the Fvd I had didn't drone at all with a similar external design.
I think the op should do a search, this has been discussed greatly.

I'm glad to hear this because I was about to get Tubi install in the champeon Porsche for $5400.

5k is steep for any exhaust.
Of the current, new exhausts, I'd look at ep or fvd.

What! 5400? I guess you must have told em you bought the FS hot air intake so they figured they may as well have a proper turn too. You know an EP1 is only 3480 euros.....4525.00 usd ( www.europipe.be ) These two systems are incomparable. The EP1 is on a different planet altogether......worlds apart....worth at least 10 times as much as any tubi.

Fwiw my tubi lasted @ 800kms on my car before i came to the recognition it was either it or the whole car had to go. Paid 4200 BNIB reduced from 4600, could only get 1800 and it looked as good as new. A safe investment one may say

You bought the FS CAI for the sound and now you're going to add a loud exhaust...makes the CAI even more worthless.

+1 agree with Chris. Paul I can't speak to the new design but I'm happy with my 2 can Tubi.

Europipe quality is top notch, however no weight savings from OEM.

I've heard several different TT exhaust and frankly they all sound like crap.

OP if exhaust notes are important to you don't buy a turbo.

++1

My Tubi drones/resonates if I short shift or run around 2,000rpm, but it does not bother me bad enough to get rid of it...All I can say that it installed nicely and it is high quality but I would not do it again...

Which tubi do you have?
I presume the newer single can unit.

With respect to 'exhaust notes,' on a turbo, the one exhaust that does sound different than EP1. tubi, Fvd, etc is GMG which sounds more like a NA engine exhaust (imo). However those turbo owners that have GMG claim exhaust very much louder than EP1 and for me EP1 is loud enough. Trying to find a direct comparison of EP1 with GMG on Utube but no luck so far.

Do you actually gain HP when you change the exhaust?

If your new exhaust has 100 or 200 cell cats the yes. To get a noticeable bump in power your exhaust has to be freer flowing than stock
