Default Carmax 08 TT Coupe

Saw an 08 997.1 TT black/black coupe 6-speed at Carmax Woodbridge, VA today for $74,998. It has 34K miles, carbon, chrono, good tires, rims, paint and a few other optiions. I'm not associated with Carmax so I'm only posting this because it's a good deal IMO if someone on this site is looking for an 08.

that's a very good price for an 08, but I get nervous with anything "carmax" related. I know a couple of folks who've sold their used cars to carmax knowing that the car has been in an accident or has mechanical issues. and a buddy of mine bought an X5 from carmax only to have the paint on the rear bumper peel off inside of 6 months. the bumper had been repainted and carmax did not disclose

just my limited experience but thought I would share. obviously a PPI at a reputable shop is a must with any of these cars

Agree, I've heard horror stories too. But, I've bought several cars from Carmax in the past and have never had a problem. In fact, I'm buying my 2010 Cayenne GTS Design Edition 3 from them. They do have an excellent aftermarket warranty that I purchase so I never worry about a mechanical problem. The warranty is good nationwide and you can take your vehicle to Porsche for repairs.

As far as the 08, it also has nav, fire extinguisher, heated seats, foot rest and etc. Based upon my inspection of the car (which BTW is identical to mine so I knew what to look for), I would buy it without hesitation if I didn't already own mine.

I didn't check but based upon the seat photo I would say "yes, it has sport adaptive seats.", and, it's a 1-owner from Maryland. You can see the car by searching Carmax at Potomac Mills, VA. Good luck, it appears to be a cared for TT for a good price. Again, no affiliation with CarMax but I think this is a good find for anyone looking for a well-optioned 08 TT.

The more I look at this car the more I'm tempted I become to trade mine and buy it! But, I'm holding out for an 09 when the price drops a little.

It also has "Turbo" on the center console arm rest which is a very nice option. I like it so I called Sun Coast Porsche parts to see about replacing my non-turbo arm rest with a turbo arm rest. The cost is $899.99 plus shipping from Germany. I'm not that vain-
