997 turbo convertible
Hello all,
I have bought a 2009 manual turbo converible.
Things didn't start well. Car is losing oil and had to be taken out.
My mecanich did a compression test and I have in 5 cylinders a compression between 12 an 13. Is this good?
In one cylinder I have 15, my mechanic said this was to much.
Is he right and what can cause this or what to do to fix it.
Thank you for your aid.

Where are you located?
1) How many miles are on the car.
2) How many quarts are you losing per 500 or 1000 miles..
3) A compression test is WORTHLESS with the variocam/multilift cams.. You must instruct your mechanic to do a leakdown test per each cylinder. Ask him where the loss of pressure is going. Does he here it in the intake or exhaust..
4) Lastly, the turbochargers could have failed and be the source of your oil consumption. Remove plastic inlet tube to each of the turbochargers and inspect for oil...
