Default Car wax

Has anyone out there used Zymol "Glasur" wax on their cars?? I've been using Zaino for years, but just saw that Zymol Glasur is made exclusively for Porsche paint. Is this a come on, or does it do a good job?

I've used Zymol cleaner wax with good results on my Porsches and BMW. Please let us know your experience with their Glasur (glaze) wax should you give it a try.

I've been real happy with the Zaino, but might pull the trigger, and try it. I'll let you know the results

Rejex here too. Used 'em all. Went to Rejex back with the old '04 C4S Cab....never looked back. We stock it now as a result - it's good stuff. Easy to use, works.

Rejex is an amazing product.
It does not give you the absolute deepest shine, however it lasts the longest of any product I have used, from Zymol, Zaino, Meguiars, etc.
Rejex can last over 6 months, even longer, and the paint feels so slippery, almost like plastic not metal.

I looked into Rejex, amazon sells it. Is it really that good? Is it like a paint sealant?

Everyone knows this but its worth repeating that surface is more important than the final step.

it's marketing bs. But still a great wax. Optically, I doubt you could tell the difference between a Zaino glaze (assuming it has at least 50% carnauba) and the Zymol. Other brands have similar carnauba concentrations but aren't as durable, however they don't cost $100 either.

p.s.
Zymol is made by Turtle Wax. Branding dosen't matter though it's the actual concentrations. That's how they get you.

I started using adams products a few years ago and have been very pleased with the resluts. You should also consider a Porter Cable buffer if you are looking for an exceptional finish. It's easy to do and the results are stunning if you follow simple instructions.

I believe only the baby blue zymol cleaner wax you can buy in walmart is made by turtle wax.

The bottom line is that its all bull****. If you properly prep the surface, you could put the cheapest wax you could find on it, and it would still look amazing.

These wax comparisons are silly. I use meguiars ultimate wax...works fine, so who cares.

Ditto. I could prep a car with any over the counter brand line (clay, polish, dewsirl, etc.). Finish with Wal-Mart's finest glaze like a Turtle Wax and park it right next to a car prep'd in the expensive boutiqe brand stuff. Only a very very well trained eye could tell the difference. And durability is almost pointless because and enthusiast owned car will always get more re-application than a beater car that's only waxed annualy.

p.s.
I use Griots but only because Advanced Auto sell it over the counter and usually with big discounts. No need to pay shipping for an excellent product.
