Cheap LED bulb replacement
Anybody ever tried to switch the OEM bulb with something like this:

Any idea if an error will occur? Is there a better option besides changing the tail light assembly?

replacing any filament bulb with a led one is likely to throw a code, unless that led bulb has a built in resistor. I am not clear where you want to install it. the auction is about parking light and you refer to tail lights? I think the parking light is the front little white corner near the turn signal, which also lights as a first level light, and in the rear its one of the red lights that comes on when the driving lights are on...

Checkout the ones from maxspeed. I replaced all the external bulbs to LEDs including the fog lights and no errors. They look great. Just need to update the HiDs to Phillips 6000k now

I did purchase the kit from maxspeed. Their kit doesn't have brake lights. I can't seem to find a code free fix. Maybe their isn't one. Phillips 6000k? I will check out.

I switched out the turn signal bulbs front and side, licence plate bulbs and all interior bulbs to LED's.
The fronts throw 4 error codes, just a few pulls on the PCM control leaver clears them up, now its just a 4 second habit on startup.
Doesn't really bother me, but I am very pleased with the improvement.
